Q2: ACO 5.0 - Image Compositing

Image compositing is the combining of visual elements from separate sources into single images, often to create the illusion that all those elements are parts of the same scene. It can also be a picture that is made from the combination of multiple images merged into a single surface. You can view my other photos here. The pictures in this set are constructed creations. This technique often generates interesting and weird surreal effects. Why these types of photos are created is to show creativity, skills and is a way of guiding the viewer's eye towards the most important elements of your work, sometimes in a very specific order. The rule of thirds is a rule or guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as designs, films, paintings, and photographs. The horizon sits at the horizontal line dividing the lower third of the photo from the upper two-thirds. The Rule of Thirds is a theory dictating how an image should be composed in order to create an aesthetically pleasing result. In all honesty, it's more of a guideline than an actual rule. How to use it incorrectly is that it can be broken. While it can help with image composition there are times when breaking it results in a better image. In some cases the sense of symmetry can be heightened by cropping the image to a square. Lighting is number one on this list for a reason. It's easily the most overlooked aspect of photography for beginning photographers, but professional photographers obsess about it. Lighting is the most important thing to making a photo look professional. why I believe photos should be edited is because you might not get it right in camera. Although we should always strive to get it right when taking the picture, no matter how good you are there are times when you are going to stuff up a little. For example, you might muck up the white balance, or the exposure, or not see that trash can in the background that’s ruining your shot because it's behind your subject. Editing can be a way of getting a second chance to get the image the way you would have wanted to capture it in camera. Professional photographers think about what camera there gonna use or how are they gonna take it what are they gonna take a picture of what is the message.I think that yes all photos should be edited because it gives us a chance to recreate the image and make it better that is what they call photo manipulation.

The strongest image composite that I am doing is a picture of me and my friends Isabella and Cara and a image of the walkway or image of the railings and I am planning on to add the image of us into the ground so it looks like someone is drawing it.I use the lasso tool, line tool, blending tool to help me blend the ground and the walkway together. The message that I am trying to send is that drawing and sketching anywhere can be used in different techniques. This composite image will communicate to my peer's that art can be used in different form's and in different way's. The composition that I am using in this image is a walkway and a selfie image of me and my friends. The angle of the walkway is ground level and the image of my friends is eye level. When my audience first view my best image composite is they will anticipate their eyes will go to the image or selfie of me and my friends because it's the focal point of think image composite.

ACO 5.0 - Visual Statement

Our topic today that we are discussing  about today is depression. Our message about our topic to the world or to our classmates is that "it can happen to anyone and you can reach out for help"and not hesitate and it doesn't matter if you have both or one you can reach out for help there is help for everyone, everyone has a second chance in life. We as partner's are talking about it because it can relate to us as teen's even if you are old or you went through the phase everyone develop or went through it. Our project goal is to make a 2-3 min visual statement or video explaining the issue that is relevant to our audience or what we have experienced. Cara Griffin is our editor & Visual statement writer. She worked really hard to help Ahnahi with the visual statement and she works hard with the editing process. Ahnahi Aguilar is our actor & Our visual statement writer. She worked hard to write the visual statement with cara and she is great by throwing out inspiration things to help with the visual statement. My role in this project is the audio writing script part & Actor. I wrote part of the audio with a little help from my teammates. and I help throw out some ideas to help with the visual statement. I worked hard to help my peer's with anything they need.

Final cut pro is a new technology item that Mr.Sanderl showed our class to help us create this fun and new project. The point of this new technology item that Mr.Sanderl showed us is for us teen's to learn and experiment and create a 2-3 minute film or video that can explain an issue that we have either experienced or what youth teen's and teen's soon to be adult's have faced.Final cut pro can help us create our own video and make it our way. Final cut pro can help us by using short videos to download to the computer and we can edit it by adding color or taking away color it also allows us to add music and take away music. We have learned and experiment different types of editing equipment. It is important to use FCPX libraries for events and projects properly because that way we don't get anyone else's work ruien and damage others hard work and most of all you should always not touch or do anything if it's is not yours. Another good reason that FCPX is important especially when doing projects and important events is because it organizes your things and keep all your films, images, colors or any special effects that you use for your films and keep them saved. Audio levels can vary drastically if you have one person say something high and then one person says something low. You can correctly balance what your audience will hear if you go to the bottom of the video where the visual images are and the audio is and you you'll see the voice over if there is one piece that you input in one the bottom of the visual images then you input another one then you can see the two voice overs that you have made then you can look at the sound waves and if one is lower and one is higher then you can pull up and down to manage the sound to balance it out so it can flow better with the video. I think the part of our video that displays higher quality is the video clips because we worked on it more and it was more complicated to do which makes us more into it and we work harder on it then the voice over.

The biggest challenge or struggle that we have about this project is getting the visual images and the voice over tied up together and getting it organize and the script writing. What we did to help us overcome this big challenge is we worked together as a team to try and help each other to get the scenes done even though sometimes we have had hard times. Our group dynamic that is driving force towards attaining the project goal is all of us but if I have to chose one person then it will be Cara because she has worked so hard on this project but I do think that me and Ahnahi did a good job and trying to help her and together as a team we did a great job and I am glad that I got to work with these girls and make our relationship as friends more better and just have fun. The most enjoyable part about this project is making a video that we can chose to do our topic about and have fun filming it with my friends and having a great time and just in general having to do something that can obtain or relate to our peer's and can show a positive and a video that can send a powerful message to everyone and show what we have learned, and just to communicate with everyone and make everyone feel the feeling that they feel from the video. Our feeling's that we have had while filming is a lot of emotions that most teens don't want to go through. To me personally I felt a lot of emotions that I have felt before it was hard because my emotions like most teens are very mixed. For Anhani her feelings were scared, and mostly camera shy because she didn't like being on camera as much it's kinda like stage fright but being on camera. Cara her feelings were great because she was not in the film & she likes to be behind the scenes.I predict that when our classmates and my teacher are watching this film they will feel the emotions that we felt and other's felt when watching it. I think this project was a good project because we got to film something was related to us.My teammates felt about this project is that we are bring notice to a problem that people overlook. They think that it's just a phase that they go to through and they think they don't have to get help they feel all these emotions and it doesn't really help that the fact that the parents think that it's just a phase and their kids don't need help but actually they do need help and I think that if you experience it and read about it then you will understand more.

Q2: ACO 1.0 - Modern Art Movement

Feminist art is a category of art associated with the late 1960s and 1970s feminist movement. The goal and expectations a feminist artist tends to create, is to convey a conversation that is linked from the viewer of the work to the artist themselves. Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, literature and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society's collective memory. My personal thoughts about Feminist Art is that feminist art is way that artist as women and girls who can express there own thoughts but mostly focus on women's lives and experiences. I think that Feminist art has really touched me in this process of art because when I first started looking at this topic I was like this is cool and I cant wait to learn about this topic. Feminist art can touch so many people if they have research it and learn why is it called that and who started and what are the accomplishments. A little history or back round of feminist art is that the first person to ever discover or develop feminist art is Miriam Shapiro. Miriam Shapiro is famous painter, sculpture, printmaker, pioneer of feminist art. She was also consider a leader of the patter of decoration art movement. Feminist art started in the later 1960's to the 1970's and it mostly focused on women's lives/experiences. It influence society today in many different ways like for example they encourage women's and girl's all over the world to do what they love and persuade your dreams.

"Anatomy Of Kimono" (1974) Miriam Shapiro
The artist that I would pick in this presentation that admires me and that inspires me is Miriam Shapiro because she was not only the one who started it but, she was also an influence to every single women and girl all over till she died. This image of the artwork that Miriam Shapiro made was based on Japanese fans, robes, kimono's.    I think that the artist Miriam Shapiro was trying to or hoping that she will inspire other's with her great artwork. I think personally think that Miriam Shapiro did a great job with her artwork and influencing other's and being the first one to create Feminist art. I Predict that if she was still alive "may she rest in piece" that she will till this day that she will do great thing's in the world today she would be making more artwork everyday time and keep influencing other's and keep inspiring everyone. I personally want to go to college for fine art's in Oregon or in Hilo. I would like to be Miriam Shapiro and do great artwork and inspire other's and do what I love no matter what I'll just keep pushing. I think that yes a single artist can persuade someone's perception ,bias , opinions. I think if the artist is a artist that can catch someone's attention and does art to inspire other's and help people in the future and has a meaning to it's art then yes a single artist can persuade someone's perception, bias, opinion in many different ways. My opinion about how have advances in technology aided or hindered the cultural impact of skilled art production is that I think that art with technology has progressed a lot throughout the years it will keep progressing.I really likes this project for many different reasons like getting a chance to work with a partner that I never worked with before and it was fun to experience the art work and learn more. The expectation for this class is to learn new stuff every week and experience it with technology and other web sites to help us create new things and to have fun and recreate other people's artwork in the same way but our style. I am happy also that we did this project because it is important to learn about what we are researching and how the artwork of art's started and just learn more and get better at artwork and technology. I think that it is important to learn about these kind of things because it can tech us things we never knew before and it can also teach us new things that we can use till this day weather it is old new we still can use theses artist ideas and feeling to connect with our selves and for young artist to use their ideas to mange there own artwork and there artwork just as good as there's. Personally me I love art and I wanna go to college for art and study the history of art.

Q2: ACO 7.0 - Workplace Safety Video

The project goal is to make a video that can explain our topic which is chemical and material handling. Chemical and material handling is when we explain the proper uses of chemicals around computers and materials that you use to clean computers or any type of technology item we also explained also how to put away the computer the right way. My teammate is Jessie he is the team leader his job is to assign everyone to do something to help with the video. Reichael is our teammate and her job is to help me in the blogger stage and act,Seth is our third teammate and his job is to act in the sequence and to do the sound design. My job is to be the actor in the project, and to make sure that everyone works together. The main thing for this project is to not stress out and be patient and just work together instead of one person doing all the work and stressing out.If other people do all work together! Then that would be hard because we woun't get the project done and turn it in on time instead of  letting that one person not do all the work so we get a good grade. It is like you are working on a commercial and you have people to help the director to do the film or documentary. Our script was very good we started from nothing and we had our topic and we started to do research and make our script.

Honestly we had ups and downs in our project but we did and turned it in on time and were happy with our results we didn't get alone quite well but we manage to do it and we were very happy. Our sequences was very good but we had some miss communication and we had some mistakes but that's all part of the project to make mistakes and learn from it. We made sure that it looks great and we all agree together because that's what teamwork is all about. The one thing that I think that we can work on is communication and trying to help one and another. I personally, think that we did good in the end and we did get the project done and our team is happy then we know that we did a good job at the end and we worked hard and I am so proud of us of what we accomplished. Another thing about the project is that I Personally think that we have some thing's we can work on but this was an exciting video to work on and experience with other peers it gives us a chance to learn about our topic and make a fun and stress video.I am happy with with the result's.

ACO 5.0 - Coding Altino Cars

We have been introduced to altino coding and what's important for us to learn and for us to have fun and be creative and let our coding perfect more. I personally think that coding is very important because it can be the use of languages it also help's our programming and computer's sills. Even if you don't want to be a programmer it is still good to know these skills because it help's for example, like for fixing your competer. For the first challenge it was hard to tackle this because we got frustrated but we ended up making a complete circle but we have not succeed the full corse. We went straight for 2.2 seconds we had the speed to 900,900 after that we had the car go left 2 times the we delayed for 2.2 seconds.I didn't feel to happy with our final result but i am glad that we did finish at least one circle.

The commends that we change that was different is that we took our tie and we didn't get frustrated as much and we communicated more and worked together. I think that overall, we did a very good job in the second challenge because we worked more hard and communicated more.I defiantly think that our second challenge was the best overall because we completed the challenge, I think that we could have more communication skills and more work ethic together but I think the second challenge we much better it still took time but it was fun and frustrating at the same time but I am glad that we did one challenge right.

ACO 3.0 - Art and Design

The elements that I used for digital life painting is line I used line for mostly for everything like for tracing the outside of of the image.I also used texture for the back round sand paper to make the back round to have affect. I also used texture overall for my drawing to make it come to life and have more of a meaning to it and make it creative. I used the pencil tool, for my image drawing for the more small and detail parts. I used a 5 px brush and for the out line I used the 10 px brush. The difference between my paint tool pencil brush is that I used a different small brush and I zoomed in close so that way I can get ready to get all those lines in there and make a lot of details.I took my time proceeding in this because I want this image to be good I, also think that if you really zoom in and get in those close area's then you can make your image is really pop and have a lot of detail to it. The most part of my image that I enjoyed the most is the pencil pad because it was fun to draw half of it out and making the image come to life. The part that I thought was hard was actuarially taking a image and
making sure that it is good enough to work with.

My image was taken by my teacher. The difference between my finished landscape and my still image is that I used my teachers image.Different types of texture and value to to my line image to make my image come to life and make it appear more realistic and have a pencil looking affect to it.I stayed in the more basic beginning tutorial but, I was able to make my image look complete like the still image by focusing my main point on the texture and value part and making sure that it is exactly what I want and make sure that this is my best work overall. I did this image because I didn't have a image and I need one.Personally I think that this image was good if it was mine and I think that I did a good job on the formate if it was my image and I would have been more better and have worked more hard then this image because I feel like if it was mine then I would be better.

My image is a picture of me and my friend cara and it was taken in this classroom in photo booth and I remember that we were playing around and having fun so we decided to do some pictures together. This images means to me is when me and her have good times and i can remember all these images and think back and say I miss all these old days and just think back to what we were in high school.
